It’s not my first time visiting Sharjah. First, let’s take Overview of Sharjah

Sharjah is the capital of the emirate of the same name. The city is a center for culture and industry, The sale or consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited in the emirate of Sharjah without possession of an alcohol license and alcohol is not served in Sharjah hotels, restaurants or other outlets due to the Muslim majority in the area. This has helped Sharjah increase the number of Islamic tourists who visit the country. Sharjah has been officially named as a Health City by WHO.

When someone told me they live in Sharjah, usually I will get SHOCKED!!! The congestion looks so annoying. I came from Jakarta the most famous traffic city in Asia. Two weeks ago a friend of mine from Abu Dhabi has visited me and he has an idea to go to #Sharjah to visit a new museum in Sharjah. First thing comes to my mind it’s hectic so I told him I can’t join him to go to Sharjah, I took a shower and I was talking to myself It’s been a long time I didn’t visit museums or art gallery. I’m not an expert but I always adore creativity, for me people with passion, creativity, Intelligent they are the coolest people on earth and I always wanted to one of them 🙂

I guess I have to move my lazy ass for today adventure, I said to myself. I get myself ready and I called up my friend, Yalla let’s go!! We both not driving so we took a cab, the first things we did once we arrived we had lunch in the #Afghani restaurant.

Then we took another cab going to #SharjahArtFoundation, on our way to go there I was amazed by the city, none like #Dubai full of skyscraper and peoples. Sharjah it’s calm, relaxing and the people they’re so chill.

So here we are at the Biennial 14 at Sharjah Art Foundation. What’s is about Biennial 14? At Sharjah Biennial 14, artists are given the agency to tell stories that echo in different ways, thus creating new surfaces for a multiplicity of chambers that reveal numerous and multifaceted means of connecting, surviving and sustaining collective humanity.
